EMAILING THE PLANNING COMMITTEE
Please email the Planning Committee Members.
?
The rejection by Cambridgeshire County Council of Amey Cespa's application to build the waste incinerator will be considered by the Planning Inspectorate after Amey Cespa lodged an appeal to strong arm the council into submission.
The Members of CCC's planning committee unanimously voted to object in September 2018 (on grounds of severe harm to landscape and heritage). Each of these members can be written to with questions, concerns and objections you want them to consider. They welcome your input as CCC prepares to defend it's decision through a public inquiry. The process Amey has triggered will cost the council tens to hundreds of thousands of pounds in legal fees.
?
Please be polite when corresponding with the members.
?
Listed below are their names, email addresses, the political party they represent, the area they represent and the area in which they live. At the bottom of the page are links to documents with official responses to the application by CBWIN and UKWIN, and a general draft letter. You may wish to select points from these, or copy and paste the whole document to send - please try to add your own comments if you can though.

Make sure you also copy in Secretary of State for Communities Mr Robert Jenrick MP- He has decided to 'recover the appeal' which means after the inquiry finishes, the appeal inspector will send a report to SOS and he alone in Westminster will decide. This is rare and we don't know why he has chosen to preside over the outcome of this. It is vital he hears directly about how people feel, this will only be summarised in the inspectors report.
